  • AI Prompts for Quizzes and Worksheets in Minutes

A good quiz tells you what students actually understood, but writing questions takes time. These AI prompts for quizzes and worksheets give you a solid first draft, and you check every question and answer before class. Replace anything in [brackets] with your own details.

    Before you start

Tell the AI the grade, the topic and what students already know. Keep student names and results out of your prompts. UNESCO’s guidance on generative AI in education stresses checking AI tools for ethical and educational suitability, which is a good habit for every classroom resource.

    Make the quiz fair

    • Match the questions to what you taught, not to what the AI assumes.
    • Avoid tricky wording unless that is the skill you are testing.
    • Keep a short version for students who need more time.
